Fans are convinced they have spotted Premier League referee Michael Oliver in a snap from an Ibiza pool party.
A picture of British tourists enjoying themselves on the Spanish party island in 2001 has emerged and been shared on social media. It features one reveller diving into a rather shallow-looking pool.
But it was another topless individual on the right of the image that caught the eye of football fans, with many pointing out his likeness to current top-flight official Oliver. One fan shared the snap and asked: "Is that Michael Oliver on the right?"

Oliver controversially declined to give Liverpool a late penalty when Jeremy Doku appeared to catch Alexis Mac Allister in the chest, with VAR sticking with the on-field decision.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp had no doubt it should have been a spot-kick. He said: “Yes [it was a penalty] but whatever I think now will not change that. I think everyone in this room thinks, if he whistles a penalty, it is not a scandal.
“Why would the guy in the VAR studio think that’s not clear and obvious? What must you have for lunch if you think that’s not clear and obvious? But I’m not angry. I really don’t care. I’m already over it.”

“But having not given it, it is also 'check complete'. You can hear Michael Oliver say that the ball is in between [Doku and Mac Allister]. The ball is too low to head. Doku lifts his foot to play the ball and he does make contact on the ball.”
